The goal of Symantec’s People Analytics team is to execute insights into our most valuable asset, our talent. We analyze data, drive action, and track progress toward goals by partnering with leadership, developing the right analytics, and leveraging technology.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst on Symantec’s People Analytics team, you will develop intelligence and insights about the organization and employee population to help drive data-driven decisions that impact the business. You will develop reports and dashboards, present data in a visually appealing way, and partner with HRBPs and leaders to use the data to drive strategy.
Analyze talent data using Workday, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and more.
Create analytical reports with visually compelling charts and graphs. Prepare dashboards to identify key trends and patterns.
Call attention to the most meaningful insights from the data. Identify actionable items and recommendations.
Fulfill business needs regarding presentation of talent data.
Work closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), talent leaders, and others to provide HR data analyses and insights to support key initiatives. Examples include attrition reduction, workforce planning, recruitment, succession planning, talent management, and diversity.
Assist in driving the development of key deliverables across various segments of the business.
Bachelor’s (in Arts, Science, or Commerce) in business, social science, finance, or related field.
Technical capability with Excel (formulae and data visualization).
Willingness to learn new data analysis techniques in Excel and Access.
