Microsoft India planning to  train 5 lakh people in data science,cloud,AI and IoT.

Microsoft India plans to skill over 10,000 developers, and train five lakh individuals across the country over the next three years through its Intelligent Cloud Hub programme. Through this programme, company  is expecting to bridge the skill gap and to increase job opportunities in India.

Microsoft is planning to set up AI infrastructure in research and higher education and to assist the faculty as well as students to build their skills in cloud computing, data sciences, AI and IoT. Moreover, the company will provide AI developmental tools and Azure AI Services to these institutes. The company foresees a big future for Artificial Intelligence and believes that Al holds the power and potential to amplify human creativity and expand capabilities. Manish Prakash, Microsoft India, said, “AI, the defining technology of our time, is fast transforming our lives, industries, and society. Future jobs require a different set of skills, and collaborating, training and working with AI will be as important as collaborating with people. We need to ramp up the institutional set-up and build capacity among educators to equip the workforce of tomorrow.
